“Mike?” Will called, coming up behind Mike. Gentle hands rested on his shoulders. “...Sweetheart, your coat's wet, you should take it off,” he murmured, softening his voice. Mike swallowed a lump in his throat. Of course Will knew exactly what to do and say. He was just good like that. So good it bled out of him and stained Mike's hands and mouth, letting him say and do good things on rare occasions when it was never him who was good in the first place. A wolf covered in lamb's blood, kindness that did not belong to him dripping from a sharp-toothed maw and staining white fur.

“You’ve been a whiny brat all week, Will,” Mike fumed, his voice hushed and low. “You always get like this whenever you have a show coming up, but I’m always good. Are you going to be able to behave for me tonight? Because I need you to, Will. I need you on your best fucking behavior.”
Will stopped moving completely. The breath in his lungs froze as he stared back at Mike, whose face was resolute. A solid thirty seconds passed before he leaned in, placed his hand over Mike’s heart, and whispered in his ear.
“Make me.”

Mike's grip on Will's throat loosens and he can’t help the way he gasps, gulping down air as his fingers curl in Mike’s stupid Falling in Reverse tee. He can feel him panting against his neck, his nose bumping against the tender bite mark there.
“Get that out of your system?” Mike huffs, nosing his way up Will’s neck. “Gonna be on your best behaviour on this tour, right?”
Will lets his eyes flutter shut despite himself, his stomach twisting at Mike’s words.
“No promises.”
Or; now that school's out for summer, the Demodogs set out on a dive bar tour. On the road, Mike and Will's relationship becomes (more) complicated.
