Summary
After Yelena’s desperate, foolhardy attempt to get her older sister to stay out of her love life by claiming she has a boyfriend, six months later finds her desperately scrambling to find a suitable fake boyfriend to bring home to meet her family and convince her sister that she doesn’t need the interference. Problems arise when Yelena realizes that her carefully, constructed façade to protect herself is slowly being stripped away as she falls deeper and deeper into infatuation with her fake boyfriend Bob. Only she could screw it up this well.
Bob’s broke, plain and simple, so when a beautiful and mysterious woman asks him to be her fake boyfriend for a week and a good chunk of cash, who is he to say no? The situation only devolves when he realizes that his feelings for her extend beyond what they should, and knowing that she doesn’t deserve to be on the receiving end of, well, him, he begins to pull away to spare her from the void within him. Only he could screw it up this well.
