Summary
He's always been a bit weird about pain, he knows that. Knows that he can take more of it than most other men, that he’s proud of how much of it he can take. He’s not ashamed of that; he uses it, takes advantage of the edge it gives him in a fight.
But this, the way he gets when he does this… it’s something else entirely. It makes him feel smaller. Fragile. Breakable, cracked open. Makes him want to be good, to be held, to be wanted in return.
Zoro likes men, he likes pain, and he likes being marked. He gets his fix of all three from sparring with his oblivious straight crewmate Sanji, and that's enough... until it isn't.

The sun had set on Coco Village, but the party was still going.
Nami could see her friends still knee deep in the revelry--Luffy gulping down food faster than anyone could dish them out, Usopp regaling the village children with tales of his bravery, and Sanji trying (failing) with Nojiko--but she still couldn't convince herself to join in.
Maybe her old neighbors were willing to overlook what she'd done, but she wasn't as forgiving.

Summary
Pale strands of gold fell in Andrew’s face, like beams of sunlight. A slight red flush sat high on his cheeks, and his dark t-shirt stuck to the sweaty areas of his skin. He should have looked messy, but if anything it only highlighted his control. The impassive stare, the way his amber eyes pinned Neil to the bed, the fact that he was fully clothed and Neil… wasn’t.
