Summary
Tiny.
He looks so tiny. Which isn’t a word Robby ever thought he’d use to describe Dennis, and yet here he is. Small, yes. He’s shorter than Robby by a good six inches, a fact that he’s always adored because it means he’s the perfect height. Means he’s just the right height for forehead kisses. Means he fits in the curve of Robby’s body just so, fits under his chin when they lie on the couch together. Means he’s exactly the right height for Robby to stand behind him, to rest his chin on his shoulder, to whisper in his ear. Dennis is smaller than him, yes. But he’s never thought of him as tiny until now. But here, in this moment, he does. Dwarfed by wires and surrounded by white hospital sheets, he looks tiny.

Summary
Dennis is just trying to catch his breath in the ambulance bay. They're caught up on the morning nursing home rush as much as they can be and it's only about noon. For a half second, he thinks Dr. Abbott is stumbling towards him, covered in blood. He only notices when he's nearly in front of Abbott’s doppelganger that he's wearing shorts and there's a flesh and bone leg where his prosthetic should be.
“Hey, you look like you could use some help,” Dennis says, reaching out to offer his arm but not touching him. “I'm Dr. Whitaker.”

Summary
"Why would you need to be on PrEP?" Robby asked slowly, suddenly feeling like he was floating outside his body, watching this scene from a distance.
Jack looked at him obviously. "'Cause I'm planning on getting railed and it's the responsible thing to do," he said, like this should be no surprise at all rather than Jack coming out to him. At Robby's silence, Jack narrowed his eyes. "Got a problem with that?"
Robby blinked, slamming back into his body, aware of his elevated heart rate, the sweat prickling along his lower back and at the backs of his knees, making his dress slacks clammy. "Nope," he said, because he didn't. He didn't.
He just...hadn't known, that was all.
