“She really couldn’t stand her. Garcia was cocky, sarcastic, brash, her constant remarks and stupid nicknames annoying, if not slightly offensive. Unfortunately though, she was also hot as sin, extremely skilled with her hands - both in surgery and in bed -, and had a smile that - though not often present - could light up a room. And Baran was only a woman, after all.

The only thing Baran was able to do in that moment was holding on to the surgeon's shoulders, fingers maybe a touch too rough, hoping in some part of her to leave marks with her nails on the surgeon’s perfect skin, a reminder that she was the one Garcia couldn't seem to stop coming back to, that it was Baran who got her to her knees. Summary
Baran wasn’t ready for this thing between her and Jack to be more than a gratifying friends with benefits arrangement. Robby’s shadow felt ever-present, and his sabbatical journey occupied a tremendous amount of Jack's mental real estate, far more so than she would have expected when she let herself fall into whatever this was between her and Jack. The only place that Robby’s ghostly presence didn’t lurk between them was when they were in bed. Except here they were, in bed, talking about him.

A slightly prosey and convoluted character study of my dearest Baran Al-Hashimi in the aftermath of a three some with Robby and Abbot. Heavily inspired by artwork and analysis by @holycartoonwarrior on TikTok definitely go see it. The hounds are hunting Baran Al-Hashimi and they are hungry for love. Kind of a follow up to previous work "The Pitt'[s Challengers" if you squint but entirely different style.
