Summary
Ted lied. An absolute total lie about having a boyfriend that he told his mom and she believed it completely. Which is just amazing because now she wants to meet this non existent man he's trying to find.
“I've never met your mom,” Schlatt announces and Ted tries and successfully manages not to choke on his drink while Charlie's eyes light up.
“Y-” Ted clears his throat. He thinks he should be laughing at Schlatt but can't. “Yeah?”
Or, Ted deals with the consequences of lying to his mom. (now cue the fake dating au where Schlatt is a good fake boyfriend)

Summary
“Shush it, Ted,” He warns, a very distant one at most. There isn’t anything backed behind it as he dares to look over at him, attempting to glare and landing on an expression he doesn’t want to know anything about in case it ends up looking so terribly wanton.
“You can go shirtless, that’s not like a new thing between us, Schlatt.”
Schlatt despises the way his stomach twists into these knots of vines that trap in thousands of butterflies, shaking him up with a rock in his throat that clogs the words of reason from coming out. Because Ted is right, of course, they both have seen one another shirtless. The thing that sticks is Ted said us. Which makes Schlatt wilt with embarrassment because it feels juvenile to care about a single word so much.
or, it's hot as hell in the hotel room and Ted keeps telling Schlatt that he is his waterboy

Summary
Schlatt groans, hanging his head low to hide the way he rolls his eyes with frustration. His patience is thin, after all, and he can feel himself becoming more and more embarrassingly needy by the second. And it's all because of some stupid accident, Ted says. "Fuck," Schlatt whispers.
"I, mean," Ted starts, shuffling around to retrieve something from his pockets, pulling out a small envelope about the length of a finger and a width of half of his palm as he holds it out, ashamed. "Okay. Okay," He steadies himself, gathering composure and tossing the envelope to Schlatt. "This is my fault."
Schlatt blinks, curious, and can momentarily ignore the aching hunger creeping up on him and he opens it, watching as two small and pink teardrop shaped seeds fall into his palm. "What the hell are these?"

Summary
"Holy shit, Ted," Schlatt whispers between a sound so high-pitched and drunk with giddiness that it could qualify for a giggle. He braces a hand against the wooden door he's leaning against, and flings his other arm over Ted's shoulder. "And I thought you were only into the chicks."

Summary
There, on his screen, it’s right there. ‘What if we recorded us’. It taunts him, which it shouldn’t, he sent it himself. But internally his guts tangle in knots, emotionally representing a cartoon character chewing anxiously on their nails like crazy.
or, the fic where Schlatt and Ted attend a fundraiser to plant trees with a bunch of cameras around, and it gives them an idea.
yes they make a sex tape for themselves
