Jason used to hire Deathstroke as a distraction for Batman when he just came back as Red Hood and was busy building his territory. Now, a couple years later, he’s forced to hire him again, but this time things are a little different.
Or: I’m obsessed with sladejay ff and when I watched The Batman I hoped for the sequel to start introducing Robins, but I’m begging for Bruce to get the character development that seems to be impossible in comics. Aka I think he should’ve been able to learn how to be a father over the twenty years he’s had sons.

Day 2: Holding Back Tears
Jason settles back on the cot, sitting cross-legged and facing one of the long sides so they can both have enough room to do whatever it is you need to do. He focuses on a breathing pattern as they tread closer and tentatively resume what they were doing prior to his little freak out, dutifully ignoring the way his skin prickles uncomfortably and his whole body tenses just at their proximity. He definitely ignores how each touch– half a moment of contact, barely even a brush against his skin– nearly causes him to flinch away and makes his eyes sting as he forces himself to remain relatively still.
Fuck. Seriously, he’s been through far worse, why the hell does he feel like sobbing?

Summary
Jason drove his motorcycle into the cave and saw Bruce in his Batman uniform, getting ready to go out. Jason’s vision was all of the sudden swimming, and when he got off of his motorcycle, he stumbled. Jason’s tumble landed him right on the floor. This earned Bruce’s attention, which is exactly what he was hoping to avoid.
“Jason?” Bruce rushed over, pulling Jason into a sitting position.
“I’m fine, I’m fine!” Jason pushed Bruce’s hand away, and stood up to prove that he was indeed fine. But to Jason’s chagrin, before he could walk anywhere, he found himself looking at the ceiling.

Jason gets a mild case of hypothermia while out on patrol and Bruce takes care of his son.
