“That was before,” Minho says now. Chan has no idea what that means. “Do you not want to be married anymore?”
The answer should be obvious, since Chan literally hired a lawyer and got the papers drafted up and sent over. And yet he can’t answer. Then Minho asks, in a much smaller voice, “Do you not—love me?”
“Do I not—what?” Chan feels like he’s on a carnival ride, dizzily struggling to keep up. “Minho-yah, this was all just so I could stay here and you could get that apartment. Wasn’t it?”
“At first, yes,” Minho says impatiently. “But hyung, are you seriously telling me you haven’t realized it yet?”
“Realized what?”
Minho closes his eyes and blows out a puff of air, ruffling his too-long bangs. He usually trims them every six weeks, but he’s been growing them out lately after Chan said they looked nice. “Channie-hyung,” he says, his voice much calmer now, “do me a favor and just think about the last year. Okay? Don’t say anything. Just . . . think about it.”

Summary
Seungmin has loved a lot of things in his 24 years of life. The list includes, but is not limited to, books, glow in the dark stars that stick to the ceiling of his bedroom, the succulent that sits on the windowsill in his kitchen that he has no idea how it’s still living, a freshly brewed cup of coffee, dogs, and so on.
When it comes to people, however, Seungmin falls a little short. Yes, he loves his friends, and yes, he loves his family, but none of those types of love fill the little hole Seungmin noticed in his heart. It isn’t particularly large, or bothersome, but when he sees happy couples and romance dramas, he wonders what it would be like if he were the main character. If he were the one who felt the fluttering in his stomach when his love interest said something charming or the warming of his cheeks when they plant a gentle kiss on his forehead because they can.
And thus, at the ripe age of 24, Kim Seungmin decides that he’ll let love find him, because sometimes it isn’t about what you can do for love, but what love can do for you.
