Summary
Humans where never supposed to domesticate dragons.
They were always supposed to be mortal enemies, mankind was not supposed to know of their existence past the viking age. They were to become old folk tales.
So when a young Hiccup Haddock shoots down a night fury in the dead of night, and lets it live, everything goes off course.
The Watcher appears in Berk that night that dragons attacked.
One of the first things they heard when they came was the whirring of the scariest sound known to human and divine ears echoed through the town.
