“I, um, thanks, Abbot. I, I needed that.” John said with a smile and blush on his face. Not noticing that Jack’s ears were also bright red at the interaction.
Night shifts were ones that most staff avoided. Other than it fucks up their sleep schedules, it had some weird cases and way less staff so most people avoided it to attempt to still have a functioning life like the rest of society.
John Shen and Jack Abbot were the opposite of majority. They find the night shifts comforting, especially in the presence of each other.
