Summary
Caitlyn Kiramman always thought she knew exactly where she fit in. Precise, composed, unshakable. She takes her first step onto the ward as an attending and leans into years of training.
The E.R. proves her wrong.
It's messy, and sloppy, and unruly, and out of control. It doesn't bend to her order. It breaks it.

What begins as observation becomes something quieter, more sinister. Late nights. Lingering glances. Conversations that don't quite end.
Vi, who never learned to do anything else. The Caitlyn who just knows control.
And somewhere in between them, something fragile starts to take shape.
And in an arena that revolves around life and death, it's the quiet, unspoken thing that seems most uncertain.

Caitlyn’s gaze lingers on Vi’s mouth, tracing the scar that cuts through the left side of her upper lip. “How did you get that scar?”
For a moment, Vi goes quiet. Something unreadable flickers across her face, there and gone before Caitlyn can name it. Then Vi shakes her head, a low chuckle slipping out. “Got in a fight with my sister.”
Caitlyn straightens, startled. “You have a sister?”
“Yeah,” Vi says, casual. “Twin, actually.”
Caitlyn blinks. “You do not.”
“I do.”
“You’ve never mentioned her.”
Vi leans in, a sly grin tugging at her mouth. “You never asked.”

After a grueling stint in rehab and therapy, Kiramman was presented with her discharge papers, adorned with distinguished medals. The process of healing had been arduous, but not impossible, making the unexpected discharge papers all the more surprising. Her mothers fingerprints written on every page. Then Sheriff Grayson reached out, offering her the helm of her elite SWAT team. "Come and be a part of Piltover's Finest, Young Kiramman." Grayson's words echoed in her mind, a promise of danger and honor intertwined, as the city's shadows loomed with unknown threats and hidden secrets.
