Summary
In the aftermath of the Clone Wars, Palpatine dead and untold tragedy averted, the Republic struggles to heal and rebuild itself.
Anakin Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi attempt to do the same with their own relationship, riddled as it has become with betrayal, distrust, and hurt. It's not going too well. Desperate and unwilling to accept that maybe their friendship is ruined, Anakin finds a counselor they can talk to, one that specializes in healing "teams."
Or, as the counselor would probably put it, married couples, which they are decidedly not. Not that she knows that though. And not that they know that she thinks they're in a romantic relationship either. What a silly assumption to make. It's not like they're more intimate than lovers or anything.

Summary
Anakin, in a fit of bravery uncharacteristic even for the Hero With No Fear, decides that he should tell the Council about his secret marriage, so that no Sith could ever use it against him to hurt the Jedi Order or the Republic.
It goes swimmingly--if you ignore the fact that Anakin definitely meant to say that he married Padmé in the wake of Geonosis, and yet the entire Jedi Council seems to think he married Obi-Wan.
And also if you ignore the fact that now no one believes them when they tell them flat out that Anakin is married to and in love with Padmé, not his old master.
And also if you also ignore the fact that Anakin doesn't know how to ignore the fact that being in love with Obi-Wan sort of makes a lot of sense. In fact, it feels like the only thing that's made sense in the last four years, come to think of it.

Anakin Skywalker arrives back to the Temple to hear the troubling news that Qui-Gon Jinn has not only taken Anakin's padawan, Obi-Wan Kenobi, into a war zone, but then left him there.
Anakin doesn't like this development at all. It's a shit thing to do with anyone, but to do it to Obi-Wan? The only reason Qui-Gon Jinn isn't in the Halls of Healing is because Anakin's already on his way to Melida/Daan to retrieve his Obi-Wan.
Wait, no. Sorry. His padawan, Obi-Wan.
