“So... How long?” Yuuji sat up straight in the bed, still practically drowning in the messy comforter surrounding him as he gazed up adoringly and inquiringly at a stark-naked Megumi, who was leaning ever-so-casually against the edge of the countertop while soundlessly sipping his tea.
“How long, what?” Megumi asked flatly, cocking an eyebrow back at the pink-haired boy.
“How long have you known how you felt about me?”
Megumi’s face crinkled into a reflexive frown, wanting to react as if the question was presumptuous and arrogant, but inevitably he just sighed, knowing he should acknowledge that it was a serious question worthy of a serious answer. He paused and closed his eyes as he began to think back, to remember.
“Hm… I suppose I knew something had really changed in me after I realized you’d actually eaten that first, disgusting finger.”

Even if he couldn’t tell him everything, Itadori felt relieved everytime Fushiguro gave him the support he so desperately craved. His best friend’s help was honestly what got him through the day. That was a normal feeling to have about your best friend… Right?
Or, the one where Itadori Yuji becomes Spider-man and everything feels like its constantly falling to pieces but Fushiguro Megumi seems to make it a little easier to handle.
