Titch glared at the back of the man's head, thoroughly unimpressed with the pleasantries being exchanged around him.
Derek Stryder. Degree in horticultural studies, like Titch, although a year or two younger than him. Studied abroad in both the United States and Spain, specialized in Production. Very interested in aubergines. Tall.
On paper, he was damn near perfect, even down to the letters [Yes, letters plural! What the fuck!] of recommendation he came with. His father loved him.
Titch hated him.
Or he wanted to, sort of desperately. This man was all of Titch’s shortcomings personified, he was the physical embodiment of his fathers distrust in him come to haunt him. And yet… and yet.

Summary

His surprise husband, Castiel, is a little weird but likable despite that, and Dean figures they’ll go back to Boston, get a quiet annulment, and go their separate ways. Six weeks later, he’s still married to one of the strangest, most genuine and definitely most dangerously lov-- likable guys he's ever known. Dean doesn't know why or really even how it’s happening, but it’s getting harder and harder to remember that he has divorce papers to file.
