Summary
From a young age, Spider knew he would never amount to anything. Not truly – anyway. He heard the whispers about who his father was; how he was too Na’vi to properly fit in with the humans and too human – too demon-blooded – to fit in with the Na’vi.
He knew was a hindrance – so he adapted. He was desperate to fit in; no matter how hurt he got. If it meant being accepted, he would take all the abuse he needed to... Spider would bottle it all up inside if it meant there was a chance that he would be loved.
Spider was content with how his life was becoming, his relationships improving – especially with Neteyam and the others. There was nothing that could ruin it anymore, at least – that was what he told himself until he would come face to face with a Na’vi who held his father’s memories...

Summary
Summer before high school.
Stanley is terrified of losing Zero ; Zero is terrified of being left behind.
So they do what they've always done: they stay. They stay up too late, sleep in the same bed, wear each other's clothes, and pretend their hearts don't pound every time their hands touch in the dark.
But Zero has never been good at pretending.
Stanley realizes something. He's not scared of losing Zero anymore, but scared of never telling him the truth.
