    Multi remained silent at the words, just giving a nod as he saw Aldo teleport away. A small sigh escaped his mouth now that he was alone, and turned back to teleport back to his reactor as well.

    Trust you… yes, I guess I do now, he thought before letting the idea bleed away with the remaining thoughts.

    Multi knew someday they would come for him, to make him 'pay' for making everyone's lives a living hell.

    But, this time, he wasn't alone to face the consequences.

By agreeing to become a walking, ticking time bomb, he didn't realize how much he’d have to cut himself off from everyone. He couldn't exactly talk about his new situation to anyone. He couldn't just share his worries or pour his heart out about how scared he was that the armor was slowly robbing him of his vitality. But most of all, he wasn't prepared for the ache that came with being deprived of any physical closeness.

    He also didn't realize how desperately he’d miss being touched, especially by a certain dog hybrid.
