Summary
I just think Billy deserved to have to suffer through redeeming himself, Steve deserves to get to be a punk, and Eddie deserves to get to be even more metal. And they all deserve each other.
Billy is forcefully brought out of his post season 3 coma, and slowly discovers he's got some carry over from having been possessed by a mindflayer. Good thing there's plenty of monsters around to practice on.
Steve is just trying to make sure his kids all make it through this newest quest, and maybe trying to learn a little bit more about who he really is now that life has stripped him of everything he ever thought he was.
Eddie doesn't really want to be here, but who is he to tell two gorgeous men no? He might be a coward, but he's not stupid. He's well aware that those without swords can still die by them.

More or less a redo of Yugioh canon with more focus on the Egyptology, character development, and ships. I threw in some MTG lore and replaced the game they play with it because honest to God I can't with Yu-gi-oh's rules and game play. Also I thought it would be neat if Atem was a Planeswaker.

Princess Azula is used to accepting orders she doesn't enjoy from her Father. She's the good child, and she'll do what's needed of her. When she's ordered to get closer to one Seto Kaiba after his unprecedented Agni Kai with his Stepfather, she finds herself much happier to comply with her Father's wishes. But that seemingly simple task may just come to change her in ways she can't yet imagine.
;P They won't get out of my head. I'm obsessed with this pairing. Due to who it it, this story is brutal.

The chapters vary in length and can be read as standalone pieces, but they are written to be read in order, and they assume you have read Seed of Life before this. Taking Root is post-canon to that story and rests entirely on it.
