"Guess you can say the tower fell just as hard as I fell for you, milady"
Ladybug glared at him, and it wasn't the usually playful glare she always had when he made a joke. This was a glare of utter disappointment, a glare he often got from his father.
The sudden ease he got from his joke vanished leaving him nervous and on edge. He understood now wasn't the time but it helped him not panic and kept him focused, he was hopping it would do the same for ladybug but it appeared to do the opposite.
