He's been poisoned! Wilbur scrambles for answers, lurching out of the loveseat, his brain bringing up some rather incriminating facts that he wants to ignore, but-
(The servants were scared, there's no guards outside the door, his brain whispers, the only chair that could have been far enough away from the Emperors to try and escape was removed.)
Wilbur's eyes dart, and he slithers as fast as he can towards the door, but there's Emperor Philza in front of him, cooing like Wilbur's a frightened animal.
(Emperor Technoblade didn't let me see the tea service, Wilbur recalls, the realization bitter, Emperor Philza forced me to sit on the loveseat, where I wouldn't be able to get away.)
Stumbling clumsily backwards, tripping over his tail, Wilbur lands in strong arms. The Emperors are shouting out the door and all Wilbur can focus on is the hidden satisfaction in their faces, coming to a grim realization as the world starts dissolving into black spots.
OR: Wilbur Soot, the Royal Advisor, is called in to see the Emperors. He grows to regret it.
