Sirius craned towards the box and peeled open the lid. He took a large bite, and Remus saw the faint spark of purple confetti and opened his mouth to say something when Sirius turned to him, “Remus, do you want half-?”
His face went slightly dopey for a moment, his pupils dilating slightly. A rush of pink smoke steamed out of his ears.
“Merlin, Moons,” Sirius breathed, his voice low,” You are beautiful, y’know.”

Summary
How wonderful, Sirius thinks, to be so sure of the direction in which you’re headed and yet so free to wander down whichever path takes your fancy next. It’s something like the complete opposite of where he finds himself; no idea where he’s supposed to be going, and agonising over every turn along the way. The idea of happily floating from city to city, figuring oneself out on the road, is both intoxicating and utterly, utterly terrifying.
Sirius is a neurotic mess on an ill-advised assignment for a travel magazine. Remus is ten years his senior, writing his thesis whilst living in Paris. Wine is involved.

Summary
The year is 1977 and the Marauders are sixth-years at Hogwarts. Remus and Sirius are a recently established couple, blissful in the honeymoon stage. But when a bit of hormonally-motivated irresponsibility winds up with Sirius being bitten and infected by Remus, the fallout threatens to be too much for the Marauders. Chainsmoking, self-loathing, and poor communication abound, all set to a soundtrack of contemporary 1970s music.
