Particularly after three Dalish clans told him off, and he settled in Kirkwall, only to discover that the city was caught in a political war about whether to reinstall a Circle of Magi, after centuries since the Chantry declared them abolished.
Everything changed when he took pity on two stranded children, and decided to get his plan on pause. An orb in the back of his office, an annoying dwarf mocking him in his house, he postponed everything until Aisling and Dorian would be grown up and had lived a long life.Things won't probably go according to plan.
