“Not bad. A little boring. And I miss you. But,” I bite my lip to stifle a grin, “there's a free buffet every night.”
Her eyes light up, and her lips curl into a wolfish grin. “Oh, is that so? Are you eating a lot, then?”
“Yes,” my skin tingles with excitement as I roll my chair a little further away from my laptop. I pull up my nightgown. Her eyes immediately glue to my swollen middle. I am stuffed to the brim with the food from the buffet. My stomach is round and heavy on my lap. I teasingly rub over it, grinning when my fiancée practically starts drooling.

“So…what, he makes you eat?” Husk asked, making a face.
“Yeah, apparently it’s a kink to watch a twink get stuffed with twice his bodyweight in carbs,” Angel groaned, glaring at the pelting rain against the door. “Val keeps putting me on location in restaurants around the city looking hot as shit, but then makes me eat like six people’s worth of food for the camera. Takes for fuckin’ ever. But I hope he lets up soon, or I’ll have to start purging or fuckin’ jogging or something.”
He let out a laugh, and looked back up at Husk. “Oh yeah, I ain’t even told ya the best part! Val said I ain’t allowed to gain a single fuckin’ pound or it’ll ruin my figure.”
Husk stared at him, face twisted in confusion.
“He fed you enough for six people and then told you not to ruin your figure?” he repeated. Angel splayed all four hands, a manic expression on his face.
“Yep!” he said, popping the ‘p.’ “Welcome to the Valentino Paradox, baby.”
