Summary
Buck thinks to when Eddie took him and Christopher to the beach, how Eddie pulled him feet down underwater and pressed a kiss to his lips before he could let out a watery sound of confusion. It was a sweet moment, one he thought of fondly, but it had hurt: the pressure of water wrapping around his skull, Eddie keeping him under. It lasted only a mere moment before the two bobbed back to the surface, Buck sucking in a deep air and hitting his husband with a demand of never do that again!
Whatever has been done to him feels like a prolonged version of that: a deep, tension strain that wraps around the entirety of his skull and makes his head throb, aching for his mouth to open so he can suck a deep breath of air into his lungs. Only now, whatever or whoever is keeping him down does not want him to raise back up.
The one where Buck is kidnapped and injected with heat inducers.

Summary
“Sit” he gestures to the stool at the counter.
Buck goes easy. Always so obedient.
“Good boy.” It comes out rough. Buck’s eyes flutter shut. “Should I be calling you a good boy actually? What with you going around picking fights?” He keeps his tone gentle, teasing. He expects a joke back, something to break the tension, but Buck’s tone is painfully earnest, his eyes pleading.
“I’m good. I’ll be good.”
Or
Nobody ever tells Buck that he’s a good boy, and he’s such a good boy. Eddie endeavours to change that. Platonically, of course. Or at least it starts that way.Bookmarked by starkdustt

Summary
From behind his back, Chris reveals his old, ratty Superman logo shirt. It’s way too small for him now, but, for some reason, he’s never thrown it away.
“This shirt has superpowers,” he whispers to Theo. "It keeps all the bad dreams away. It doesn’t fit me anymore, but I don’t want all the superpowers to go to waste. Do you think maybe you could look after it for me?”
Theo nods emphatically. “Yes,” he whispers. He looks up at him, his tiny face sure and determined. “I can do it, Chris.”
Or, Theo has nightmares. Chris works a hand-me-down shirt-shaped miracle.
