The way she stated it was so ridiculously matter-of-fact that you snorted a laugh.
“Humor,” she murmured, reaching to your face. Her metal finger, ice cold, dragged across your skin, tucking a stray piece of hair behind your ear. Your laughter silenced immediately. Goosebumps rose on your skin and you stiffened slightly, somewhat relishing in the chill that her hand left on your skin.Or a fic in which you are an engineer in charge of fixing Ash's equipment and she pays you a visit.

The bullet itself, though, bounced off of her hair, as bullets did to “friendly” teammates. Though, it had clearly done some other type of damage.
