Summary
I pretended not to notice the way my own stomach flipped after saying it. Too late to take it back. Too embarrassing to explain. So, naturally, I dug around in the tote bag like a magician with questionable credentials.
First came the two small square canvases. Then a plastic cup, a folded cloth, a cheap mixing tray, two thin brushes, two thicker ones, and a little box of acrylic paints I had bought from the art supply store near the train station.
Jo’s face changed when he saw the paints.
It was a small shift. Of course it was small. This was Jo, after all. He did not light up like a fireworks display. He lit up like a room slowly filling with afternoon sun. His shoulders loosened. His eyes dropped to the paints, then to the brushes, then back to the canvases. His hand hovered over the box of colors before he stopped himself from touching it too quickly.
“Art picnic,” I said, trying very hard to sound casual and not like I had spent twenty minutes in an aisle being defeated by acrylic mediums for this exact reaction.

Summary
Harua bounced the ball once. Twice. He looked across the net, lashes fluttering with dangerous innocence. “Maybe you should get better at tennis. Then you could return my kick serve at a less embarrassing rate.”
Taki clutched his chest with his racket hand. “You wound me.”
“You’ll live.”
Yuma’s whistle shrieked between them.
Both of them turned.
“Play,” Yuma snapped, circling a sweeping hand around his view of the court as if presenting the entire disaster to them. “Before I issue an official warning for whatever this is.”
[in which Yuma has to umpire a "friendly" match between Harua and Taki]

Summary
He turned back to the post and swiped again, because apparently he had learned nothing from the last few minutes. In the post, Euijoo sat alone at a small table, a pencil balanced against his chin while his other hand held a pamphlet in front of him. The styling team had clearly been aiming for thoughtful. Scholarly, even. Like he was deeply considering the finer points of whatever was printed on that page. The expression was too earnest. The pencil pose was too deliberate. The whole thing had the energy of someone trying very hard to look intelligent while waiting for instructions.
Nico snorted. I mean, it’s endearing, I’ll give him that.
His thumb shifted.
The screen blinked.
The heart turned red.
Oh no.
[In which Nico accidentally uses the w_h_y_weno IG account to like the official &TEAM account's nichojoo photoshoot IG post]

Summary
Nico awoke as if he had been falling for a very long time.
Not all at once. Not with the clean violence of a nightmare, the kind that left you gasping for air and damp with sweat. Strange. His body seemed to be remembering gravity before his mind did.
First, there was heat. Then there was wind. Then the terrible, ironic lightness of being.
[in which Nico and EJ share a room (and maybe more than that) during the post I-LAND training camp]

Summary
Before he could say anything, Nico’s voice cut through the static.
“Bohol. New Year’s. Come with me.”
In the background, there was noise—music playing softly, the clink of bottles, and a voice he hadn’t heard in years but recognized instantly.
EJ didn’t answer right away. He glanced at his own reflection in the bathroom mirror—tired eyes, a wrinkled dress shirt, a loosened tie. He’s supposed to have his life together. Like someone who wouldn’t say yes to an impulsive, drunken invitation from an ex.
He shouldn’t.
But—
“…Okay.”
EJ sighed.
What the hell did he just agree to?
[wherein EJ agrees to join his ex Nico to a getaway in Bohol]

Por suerte para él, su mejor amigo Harua está ahí para solucionar sus preocupaciones...

On the eve of his twentieth birthday, Taki had lain beside him on his room's felted wool carpet and nudged his shoulder."Nico, I love you," he said, like his rib cage threatened to cave in.

And now onto the most terrifying part, what if Taki had done just that?

Summary
Warning - spoilers about The Time Traveler's Wife.
Derek might have loved books in the past, but he’s lost the memories of how much they can spark imagination right back to life. That is until he walks into Adventure Time, a bookshop with more personality than Derek has ever seen, and meets the owner, Stiles. Funnily enough when Derek first opens a book in the shop, he lives the story through and through; ending up being sent to the Moon along with Jules Verne’s characters. Stiles takes Derek on a journey, from pirates to gentlemen, through pain and laughter and love, and teaches Derek again about imagination, about family, about letting go.
A story about books.
