Summary
After stopping Basil from committing suicide and overcoming his alter ego, Sunny awakens in the Faraway Hospital, and later, bravely tells the truth about Mari's death to his closest friends.
As Sunny and Basil felt their burdens begin to fade away, a new chapter for all of the friend group's lives awaited, and Sunny and his mother hurriedly moved to Nearby City after his further impromptu hospital treatment.
A month passes, and Sunny, being inspired and driven, undergoes remarkable and speedy personal growth and recovery to honor his late sister's life among other pursuits, and somewhat as well with his closest friends back in Faraway.
And after a long day, he drifts into slumber, where he finds himself in a new kind of dream world. As he explores it, Sunny gradually became fully immersed in this magical realm inside his head... all until an unexpected turn occurs.
When he woke up, Sunny couldn’t believe it; here she truly was.

I'm so sorry for the one-month delay! I'm doing alright physically, and mentally too, but just overwhelmed; more context in the update. The first chapter has been finished already in September 2025, and I'll publish it on Wednesday. More context to this in the update as well. This update's text will have a part in the next major status update, once MoaSC is published. -

Summary
It was the conclusion of Mari's second semester at Nearby City University, and she and her two close friends prepared and packed their things to leave their dorm and go home, since it was finally their summer semestral break.
This one year of university, to Mari, was quite nice. She had made many friends here who understood her and helped her with her depression, and it was genuinely touching for her. In this way, she had made new friends.
The thought of leaving her dorm here in her university... she had mixed feelings about it. She was sad about leaving, but hopeful that she could return next semester.
To go home to Faraway, though, was another matter. Unlike her close friends, she didn't like it there anymore, mostly because of what she unintentionally did to her younger brother four years ago, and how she was treated for it back then.
And for long, Mari has been battling with her inner demons and trauma, and even though she wasn't alone, her mental health, over said time, gradually became less well anyway.
Mari was now extremely mentally exhausted; she doesn’t want to keep fighting through it anymore.
She plans to rest from it tonight.

Summary
Kel finally gets Sunny out of his house for a single day, but he does not come back out the following day. Not long after, Basil commits suicide, leaving the blame to fall upon Aubrey and the Hooligans due to their constant bullying of him.
Wracked with guilt and realizing that she may also be the reason Sunny did not return, Aubrey breaks into his house only to find that he has stabbed himself with a steak knife and rushes him to the hospital.
Realizing the direness of the situation and hoping to do more for her son, Sunny's Mother takes Aubrey in hoping that it will help mend their past friendship together, as well as their trauma.

Summary

Now, Aubrey and Sunny meet again at the local college. They still remember the promise they made long ago to still be friends. But it clearly isn't as easy as just that. Forgiveness and healing take a long time.
And a long-forgotten crush might make things harder...
But Aubrey and Sunny can't help but try anyways.
