Summary
It’s easy to lose yourself when you think everybody has healed and left you behind with your problems — those very same problems they’ve caused but don’t care enough to fix.
Optimus finds it impossible to rework this mindset. In the end, all it takes is a rowdy crew with an impossible goal, a months-long bender with his amica’s conjunx, and a trip to an alternate reality to convince him that nobody really moves on from their tragedies. They simply make do with strong distractions.
Fortunately for Optimus, the unhinged shenanigans of the Lost Light and their ex-warlord co-captain can sum up to a hell of a distraction.

Summary
Megatron no sabe si lo que sus sistemas perciben es real o una ilusión creada por su propio procesador en busca de un motivo para no desistir de su decisión. Ha dejado su facción, convirtiéndose en un traidor para su propia gente en busca de la redención, y quizás, también perseguir ese amor no profesado que creía extinto. La tensión en el Arca no hace más que incrementar, y su relación con el nuevo Prime le trae recuerdos tormentosos, y pese a tratar de huir de ellos, termina encontrando refugio en el dueño de esas memorias: Optimus Prime.
Optimus, tan imponente y servicial como hosco. El típico Alfa que actualmente fingía una despreocupación para nada propia de él, pero que de alguna manera termina actuando de una forma extrañamente reconfortante y familiar. No importaba de cuántas maneras intentase huir de él, algo dentro suyo parecía querer impregnarse en él, y vivir en su sistema como un parásito, consumiéndolo lentamente hasta la médula.
Megatron persiste, rasgando en esa herida no sanada, inyectándose y embriagándose de algo que no cree ser apropiado, sin darse cuenta de en qué momento pasa de ser el cazador a la presa.
"Y mierda, si no me querías de la misma manera... ¿por qué actuabas así?"

Summary
Optimus was trapped; he gripped his drink tighter as he fought to stop his combat protocols engaging. There was nothing to do and nowhere to go. All eyes were on him as Megatron finally ceased his march. His eyes glowed with a delight that only ever meant trouble. Optimus steeled himself, knocked back the last of his drink, and stood to meet his opponent.

Optimus needs to get out and talk to someone. Megatron needs to talk to anyone other than Soundwave. Somehow, they both end up at a Veterans’ Speed Dating event. Things can only go well.
