When the long bus rides home started to get dark at 5 o'clock in the winter months, for some reason the eyes you constantly felt boring into your skin started to feel like something that grounded you. More than once, you felt those eyes follow you home. It was terrifying at first, but you got comfortable. Then you got addicted. As crazy as it sounds.
That realization that you were getting too comfortable being stalked was almost scarier than your original notion that you were being followed, but as soon as you realized this, he disappeared. It was odd not having him there, but you couldn't do anything about finding a person you didn't even know. You tried not to let his absence get to you and move on with your life in the best way you could... trying to forget your stalker.
