Summary
Alastor's brow furrows in uncertainty as his smile shifts to a small, hesitantly genuine thing—real, it's fucking real like Vox hasn't seen in decades—the white noise that surrounds them intensifying painfully as it drowns out all else. It itches and chafes at the edges of his awareness as if desperate to consume, or—no, to merge. But there's no fucking chance of that—not now, or ever again—so he holds firm against it and can only watch as Alastor's lips move silently, questioningly.
Picture Box?
Vox thinks he might throw up.
Alastor is back after a seven year absence, but is no longer the man Vox once knew. Still, Vox knows one thing: he won't let anyone take Alastor from him ever again.
[update planned for August after I finish other commitments]

Summary
Alastor has survived Hell by never letting anyone see what he really is.
Vox was never meant to find out.
When an accident exposes Alastor’s hidden omega status, the discovery rewires everything Vox thought he understood about the Radio Demon—and about himself.
Alastor closes ranks, sharpens his smile, and dares Vox to forget what he’s learned. Vox can’t. Some secrets change the way you hear a voice forever.

Summary
It's not a surprise that as the only daughter of a wealthy merchant family, Toph Beifong would someday be offered up on the altar of matrimony. For more wealth, for a noble title, for the good of the family. She'd just planned to run away first. And she definitely didn't expect this mess.

Summary
When he gets the question, among their friends—and maybe someday: for the world—but when he answers that age-old question, he never imagined what his answer was gonna be.
He’s a six-time Grammy winning metal god (a quote, from Metal Hammer directly, so). He was gonna find love in a fellow musician, or the crew, or a weirdly normal groupie. Maybe at a venue bar, if Eddie ever went out to get his own drink.
He never did that, but like: if.
Most likely though was that Eddie Munson would never find love, save that of his guitar, and that was alright, really. He’d kinda always expected that, so it wouldn’t have been, like. A disappointment. Just business as usual.
That’s not how his story plays out, though. Thank fuck.
But it tracks either way that he doesn’t envision that the question of how he met the love of his life would ever, in a million years, be: oh, at a book signing.
A children’s book signing.
Eddie doesn’t even have kids, man.
Which makes it all the wilder still, when the reason for why everyone starts to ask ‘how’d you meet’ spawns from an attempt to fucking blackmail their asses.

Summary
Vox hasn’t slept in days- not really. He keeps his tower running, keeps the Vees fed with numbers and noise and results, keeps his faceplate bright and his voice sharp and his mask welded on so tight nobody can see what’s underneath.
Valentino notices anyway.
When Vox slips out of Vee Tower for “five minutes” and ends up in an alley with trembling hands and a cigarette he swears he doesn’t need, Valentino follows, and for once, he doesn’t let Vox joke his way out of it. He drags him back upstairs, past all the polished glass and locked doors, and refuses to leave until Vox’s screen finally dims and the act finally stops.
OR Vox tries to disappear into work. Valentino won’t let him crash alone.
