Kaneki lives in a world inside the mind of 'Kaneki's body' after Yamori's torture. His place is replaced by another person of himself, now called Shiro. He lives in torturing loneliness and depressions be being left unknown and isolated. He wakes up in his house that somehow has been formed by memory. He lives for a year watching the scene of how his life flowed on without him. But one day, after watching his 'other self' have a severe fight with Arima, he wakes up to see a white haired boy lying beside of him in his bed.

Summary
Killua would have been thoroughly enjoying the Christmas party being held in the Freecss' family home. Everyone in the room is a friend he'd sorely missed, and the holiday was a happy chance to catch up together. There was only one problem - his paranoid understanding that somewhere, hidden within the decorations, was a social landmine.
Eventually, though, he comes to appreciate it.
Non-established Killugon, relationship shenanigans delightedly ensue. Hints at Senritsu/Kurapika/Leorio (the holy trinity), but you can take it any way you want.
