Summary
Izzy's had a run-in with an occultist in Nassau, with some unfortunate consequences. He's working on fixing the mess when he runs into Ed, who's been captured by pirates looking for revenge. Unfortunately, Izzy's forced to put his plans on hold.
It’s all Bonnet’s fucking fault. As usual. Most of Izzy’s problems from the last... oh, threeish years now, are Stede fucking Bonnet’s fault.
This one takes the cake, though. Izzy looks down forlornly at his feet. His paws. Fucking hell.

If asked, Izzy could exactly pinpoint the moment when it had all started: the moon was full in the sky, turning the calm waves into shining silver, and making the usual darkness a portrait of blues and grays and pearlescent tones.
“It’s almost magical, isn’t it?” Spriggs had muttered dreamily from where he laid with his head pillowed on his boyfriend’s thighs.
That was it. That was all that was needed for Stede’s eyes to go wide and bright, like they did every single time he got a stupid and brilliant idea that was sure to make Izzy’s life more difficult, and then he launched in the embellished retelling of some merchant’s account of how all of his wares had been lost to the attack of a fearsome monster that preyed on livestock and humans alike, but only on nights of full moon.
