Ivan's hand shifted just enough at Alfred’s throat to guide, not force, his attention back where Ivan wanted it. To make sure he heard.
“You want me to stop,” Ivan continued, softer now, “because it is something you hide from. The truth.”
His gaze flicked briefly over Alfred’s face, noting the tension, the anger, the way it sharpened him even through everything else pressing in.
“You don’t know what the fuck you’re talking about…” Alfred spat, part of the last word cut off with a choked noise as he clamped down on a sound that was building to a moan.

Starting with the establishment of the CIA with assistance from the representative of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and the SIS, the two navigate their way through a government pushed 'Special Relationship.'
Emotions grow complex, the slow decline of the old world powers, finding footing on this new world stage bring about entanglements of epic proportions.
