Summary
Everyone should know how good Mydei is, that was the thought that triggered all of the events to come.
It seemed like a great idea, one that would help mitigate the growing tension between Oklahemans and Kremnoans, after all, who didn’t like a handsome face?. So Phainon did what he thought best and added Mydei to the annual competition of most beautiful face on Amphoreous.
In theory the plan was supposed to make people feel more comfortable around the crown prince and by association feel more comfortable around his people too, that way Mydei would have one problem less over his shoulders and could spend more time with him. What he did not expect was that in practice his plan would be way more effective than what he thought.
