Clark’s voice. So familiar it tugged at something deep in Bruce’s chest.
He blinked awake just as Clark stepped into view—jeans, white t-shirt, open red overshirt catching the breeze. And that smile. Bright, unguarded, devastating in a way Bruce hadn’t been prepared for.
God, he was beautiful.
Bruce gets sent back in time, turned into a teenager again, and the worst part is that Clark Kent is way too pretty for his own good. How the hell is he supposed to focus on getting home?

'Not when the music fades into oblivion, and the only thing that matters is the two of them.
“You taste like her,” Clark says, when they finally pull away.
It sounds angry. Almost accusatory. As if Clark has to remind him, to fault him. Because Bruce tastes like someone else. And, in all fairness, so does Clark. Bruce knows how he tastes, the lingering sweetness he carries around in his tongue. The taste of his favorite party drink, and his favorite snacks. Things Bruce has grown to love over the years. Things he is sure he will love forever.
He misses those now.
And, honestly, it pleases him that Clark feels the same way. Even if only about this.'
or: College best friends, Bruce and Clark, have danced around their feelings for far too long. After casually hooking up for four years, everything seems fragile now, with graduation getting closer and closer by the second. Both seem to be sure they are handling this the best they can. Until one fateful night, when jealousy gets a bit out of hand and Bruce sees a glimpse of the life he has always wanted.

“It hurts, you know, that I’m not the first one you think of when you think about those who care for you,” Clark says softly. He lets out another breath, composing himself before looking back at Bruce, seemingly piercing his soul. “After all this time.”
“After what?” Bruce snaps. He can’t handle this conversation after everything that’s happened tonight.
After the girl, the leaf and the signal. After Clark being a steadfast thorn in his side, forcing himself behind the emotional walls of Bruce’s life and infiltrating his sanctum with his hope and good intentions.
“We’ve fucked for what? Three months? Maybe four?” Bruce says sharply. It shouldn’t hurt the look that crosses Clark’s face. Bruce shakes his head and looks back at the computer.
Ten people stare back at him. Four he recognizes, two he knows Dick will and four he knows belong to Jason.
“That’s all that was to you?”

Mid-sentence, he realizes while trying to read if Viktor is upset or not that Viktor has been staring intently at his lips the whole time. After a moment of silence, Viktor finally notices that Jayce has stopped speaking and his cheeks flood with red.
Oh.
When Viktor’s eyes flick up to meet his, they look panicked, like he’s been caught.
