Someone said that the presence of crows was a sign of death. In Gerhard’s case, that was quite misleading as he found himself transmigrated to the novel he had just finished reading. It became even more confusing when he discovered he was not only transmigrating as George Russell, one of the novel's main villains, but also sharing the same face with him. The crow's presence was not singing about his death; he was just trapped in a great misfortune.
Gerhard tried his best to live, but as time went on, he discovered that George’s life was not as shallow as he had read in the novel.

Summary
