    While searching for the Sun-Moon Dew Mushroom, Shen Qingqiu and Shang Qinghua accidentally stumble into the settings for some of Shang Qinghua’s unfinished novels. There they encounter two terrifying villains: a ferocious demonic cultivator and a vengeful scrap god.

    … Actually, no, these guys seem pretty all right.

    In a burst of sympathy for these misunderstood villains who are doomed to equally terrible lives under Shang Qinghua’s hack plots, Shen Qingqiu rescues them. Meanwhile four overpowered and very annoyed protagonists are hot on their heels.
