Summary
An AU in which MineDai are fishermen living in the same little village, their fates becoming entwined over a net.
Mine Yoshitaka is a solitary worker diligently keeping up to date with the quotas his business partners set, constantly moving as the nature of his business keeps him untethered. His skills leave much to be desired from his competitors, specialising in small-scale operations where he keeps stocks full and quality high. He doesn't remember how he got tangled in the line of work, but he knows he can't escape it easily.
Dojima Daigo is the unofficial 'mayor' of sorts in the village Mine landed in this time, and he seems to be everywhere at any point in time. Previously eager to ditch his hometown for the shiny allure of the city, the death of his father - the corrupt mayor meddling in business - starts a change of heart within him that leads him to this point. Now he spends his days helping his fellow neighbours and his nights drinking with the "fanclub" of fellow fishermen he's amassed through his good deeds and natural charisma.A chance meeting leaves a dent in Mine's well-kept armour, and with each passing day the humanity within him begs louder to be let out. Could Daigo set him free?

Summary
Anaxa was expecting to see a young man close to his height, with snow-white hair and sleeves that looked a bit too big on him.
Instead, what greets him is a highly robust wall of muscle. A broad, incredibly toned chest, sheathed in fabric so taut that it looks only one deep breath away from popping.
Who is this man, and why is he taller than Phainon, but still sounds like him?
Slowly and cautiously, Anaxa lifts his gaze.
It is Phainon.
But also...not?
Anaxa is already having a terrible day. The last thing he needs is his student showing up at his door ten years older, infuriatingly handsome, and far too confident for comfort.

Days ago, he could not stand on his two legs. Currently, he is able to replicate human movement with high accuracy, albeit clumsy at times. He is unable to emote, but understands the concept of a “thumbs up” to communicate acceptance.

Summary
When Kaveh announces that he’ll need to temporarily stop taking suppressants, Alhaitham assumes that he must be an omega. After all, that’s the only logical reason that Kaveh would have pretended to be a beta for all this time. It’s the only logical reason that Kaveh would ask Alhaitham, an alpha, to leave the house for two weeks.
Except Alhaitham has made a rare miscalculation—and helping Kaveh will be much more difficult than Alhaitham expected, when his own instincts keep pulling him in two different directions.
“To clarify,” Alhaitham says, “you’re saying you’ll feel safer if I’m not here. Do I have that correct?”
“That—that’s not exactly what I said.”
“You said that you don’t know if it’s safe. That implies a degree of uncertainty, which means that you’ll feel less uncertain—and therefore safer—if I’m not around.” When Kaveh doesn’t respond, Alhaitham adds, “I’m just making sure I understand the situation correctly.”
“To be honest,” Kaveh says, “I don’t think you understand the situation at all.”

Summary
Kaveh used to think that Alhaitham had mastered the art of ignoring him. The man would remain unflappable as he continued to read his worn copy of The Origins of Enkanomiyan Language, even when Kaveh was a hair’s breadth away from shattering the windows of their house with his severity of pitch.
No amount of screaming, threats to throw things, or violently waving in front of him could get Alhaitham to pause in his thirst for knowledge. As it turns out, Alhaitham literally just turns his hearing aids off so he doesn’t have to listen to Kaveh.
It’s for this exact reason that Kaveh has decided to learn Sumerian Sign Language.
