Summary
Every other story goes like this. Jade West is a sociopathic, black-haired she-demon who screams her thoughts like it’s the only way she can. She’s got a gruff tone, a raspy, shrieking pitch that no one can deny is hers. Her ego’s all the way up her ass, and there is only one person who’s got the courage (and a major in idiocy) to challenge her bravado.
Tori Vega.
The brunette’s drenched in naivety, and a firm believer in second chances. Even if Jade was the biggest risk she could ever possibly take, with it literally being social suicide to cross her path, or breathe too loudly, or give her a bad look, or say a word she despises, Tori Vega walks on Jade’s spikes like they’re pillows. Like she doesn’t know that her roses have thorns.
And that’s either going to kill her from the inside and out, or bring out the life that she never knew was missing.
