Summary
There comes a time in a man's life that he has to choose. He can throw himself into chasing the echo of the person who can't really be gone, because they never said goodbye, who must be them because there's no closer simulacrum and they can't really be gone. Or he can be the one to say goodbye, and dedicate himself instead to being present for his child who's had too much put on their young shoulders. We've heard the one about Dr. Leonard Church already. It's a good tragedy, because it was so easily preventable by just, y'know, not fucking doing that, yet inevitable because he would, unfortunately, always fucking do that. Lavernius Tucker's story is looser. He's flexible like that, bow-chicka-bow-wow. So maybe he looks at this choice and says, "baby, get you a man who can do both".

Summary
Three Blue soldiers arrive at Blood Gulch Outpost Alpha. It's just a perfectly normal assignment in the middle of nowhere, right? ...Right?
Except when those soldiers are Private Church, Lavernius Tucker, and Captain Flowers: an assassin, a rebel, and the Alpha AI.
Blood Gulch doesn't seem quite as boring any longer.
-------------
Or, a pre-season 1 story about Alpha dealing with trauma and his forgotten memories of Project Freelancer, while slowly becoming friends with Tucker.
