Lumine hates this cycle. Going to a new world, falling in love, coughing up petals, forgetting all those precious memories. Rinse and repeat. But having Aether with her helps soften the harsh brutality of this cycle, it prevents her from falling into a pit of guilt and hopelessness. And similarly, she will not have her brother fall into that same pit.
She once believed that with Aether, this cycle could continue as long as it wants to. She would get through it, so would Aether, they would get through this vicious cycle of unrequited love together.
