The abyss was black, snow was white, and battle was red. Tartaglia, “Childe,” quite liked them that way, and he quite liked when they all mixed together. In fact, nothing was better. He took every step in life desperate to swallow the whole world in those colors.
Zhongli, on the other hand, preferred the calm, endless blue of the sea. It was unfortunate that taming the ocean was a futile endeavor. Even so, he always found that he did his best soul-searching while near the water.

“No, no-” Childe laughed. It twinkled with this amusement Zhongli latched onto with an earnest interest. Perhaps, that’s why he was so agreeable to it. “It is not dinner I want from you, Zhongli. How about a proposition, hm? To help you get over this aversion of yours. How bad could it be if it's just me?”
(Bad. Zhongli realizes in retrospect. Childe had lured him into this trap with honeyed words that Zhongli naively took at face value.)

When Ninguang took over Liyue, visions were deemed forbidden. The Geo Archon, Morax, however, did not comply and instead fled. He knew Ninguang would go after him first before taking everyone else’s visions in Liyue. The Harbingers were given the mission to search for the Archon, to find him first before Ninguang but after searching for months, they came up empty-handed.
Never did Childe think he’d find the Geo Archon in a tavern he’s been frequenting for the past few months as a server he’s been interested in since the first time he saw him.

He was the only one in the company with Zhongli’s personal number and the woman was already worrying about a possible hacker attack or robbery inside her company.
“Bro, is it weird if I want my Boss to rail me to death? I know she's a woman, but...I can't help it. I need her on top of me. I would kiss the floor where she just put her feet.... I really need to talk to someone and Signora would hang the phone in my face. Please, I'm obsessed. I've never wanted to be destroyed so badly in my life. Please answer me. I might be slightly, slightly drunk.”

Summary

He can’t believe he talked about sex with Venti. He can just imagine all the smug smiles and stupid smirks he’s going get when Childe sees him next. He can see it now: the slyness in Venti’s voice and the wiggling eyebrows as Childe gets ribbed for taking his advice.
