Summary
Since Shane’s Calvin Klein campaign dropped, it somehow escaped the hockey bubble entirely and spilled into the general public. There are countless TikToks now—not even from hockey fans, just regular people—posting about his husband in tight white briefs that leave very little to the imagination. Every sports show seems obligated to mention Shane Hollander’s Calvin Klein campaign. It’s inescapable in a way neither of them had expected.
At first, Ilya thought it was fun. He was glad the world finally saw his husband as the sexy, talented man he’d always known him to be. He liked interacting with fan posts and edits, even sending them to Shane just to watch the way his face would immediately redden.
But now, the public reaction is a little… much.
or: Shane’s Calvin Klein campaign goes viral, not only in the hockey sphere, but all over the internet. Ilya tries (and fails) to not show his jealousy.

Still, he’s felt like absolute shit for weeks, and the idea of sitting in his hotel room, where he would probably masturbate, cry, and have another night of fitful sleep, did not make him feel any better. Getting to be skin to skin with Ilya Rozanov did. And surely Rozanov wouldn’t be demanding Shane make a nest in his damn bed if he didn’t fully intend on actually kissing him in it and keeping him there until morning, right?
Maybe that would be enough to pick Shane up out of this drop, keep it from happening again.
OR
After not sending the "we didn't kiss" text, Shane's omega hormones go into distress mode. Despite trying to hide his symptoms and play through the misery, when Ilya Rozanov finds out what's going on, the alpha Shane's body wants most is determined to fix it.

As much as TK seems to think the whole hot firefighter calendar thing is ultimately outdated and kind of objectifying, his logic is: “Well, I don’t mind being objectified. For cancer research, you know.”
To which Carlos couldn’t find a suitable response in time, and TK had given his blank face a very dirty kiss that had effectively brought him out of his reverie, so… here they are.
It’s just that–-everyone already knows TK is hot. Right? So why, you know, have TK emblazoned all over a very public calendar, dripping halfway out of the already very sexy uniform, to remind people who won’t get to have TK in the way Carlos does?
Because they won’t. Ever. They won’t. Not if Carlos has a say.
(That was a bit harsh.)
(Not untrue.)---
TK's signed up for this year's firefighter calendar. Carlos is trying to be brave about it.

Ilya began to feel something like horror take seed in his chest. "So then she thinks... she thinks Shane takes care of both of us?"
Harris, completely grinning again, said: "Dogs watch people, Ilya. They learn social relationships and learn who listens to whom."
Then the fatal blow: "From Anya's perspective, Shane comes into the home, distributes resources, organises activities, corrects behaviour, establishes most routine, —“
"And tells you both what to do." Harris finished. "And both of you listen."

Summary
"Do you think there's something wrong with me?" Shane broke the silence, lifting his gaze slightly. Ilya frowned and shook his head no immediately. "Ilya... there has to be. These meltdowns or whatever they are aren't normal. I know that."
"Not being 'normal' doesn't mean you have a problem, Shane," Ilya countered softly, resting his chin against his husband's temple, settling him even closer against his body.
"I'm sorry..." Shane's voice came out small. His unfocused gaze wandered around the room while his fingers mechanically scratched under Anya's chin. She was now blinking slowly, surrendering to sleep.
"For what?"
"It's just..." Shane let out a shaky sigh. "You're the one with depression. I'm the one who should be taking care of you, not the other way around. Having these meltdowns..."
