    Yamada’s painful expression was quickly replaced with forced indifference, a muttered apology, and a promise to not touch him again.

    During Oboro's funeral, Shouta made a demand and Hizashi made a promise. Neither of them had brought it back up, but it lingered in every interaction they had.

    It wasn't until Nemuri's photo that Shouta realized how tired he was. How much he longed for Hizashi to reach out without pulling away.
