Summary
“Guy?” Buck asks like he’s never heard the word before. “Eddie’s been talking to a guy? Like, a specific guy?”
“Yeah,” Harry says. “He was talking about it the other day after work. I think they’ve been out like three or four times. Pretty sure he’s an electrician or something?”
“An electrician…” What the fuck kind of real person is an electrician?
Buck drums his fingers on the table and stares at his empty glass and wonders what possible conversation led to Eddie revealing this guy’s profession to Harry. It’s not like it’s interesting.
Buck tries to picture what Eddie could’ve possibly said: I was out for the twelfth time this week and some random guy came up to me and said hey, I’m an electrician, can I put my stupid sweaty hand on your bicep and then crash your work function? And I said yes because I’m gay now and that means I have to go on a date with every fucking man in Los Angeles apparently.
OR
Eddie gets a boyfriend, and Buck has some feelings about him.

Summary
“I lied,” Buck blurts out, sheepishly. “You seemed so relaxed while you were sleeping, and with the extra shift you covered yesterday… I just wanted you to rest.”
“You lied about what?” he asks, even though he has a pretty good guess.
“About the time,” Buck confesses, then adds, smiling at him, bashful, “I also turned off your alarm.”
(Or, five times Eddie feels something as Buck takes care of him, plus one time he realizes what it means, and kisses Buck about it.)

Summary
“Theo, baby,” Eddie says gently, unwrapping his arms from Theo and holding the boy out at arms length and pushing his hair back off his forehead. “You gotta use a tissue.”
Theo tilts his head in question, looking at Eddie like he personally offended him.
“See,” Eddie grabs a tissue and holds it up to his own nose, feigning blowing his nose. “All clean, and then you can throw it out.” He stands up and walks over to the trash, dropping the used tissue in before turning back to Theo.
“Hmm,” Theo hums, bouncing on his feet a little and giving a little menacing smile to Eddie, “nope.”
It’s all the warning Eddie gets before Theo practically launches himself at him, pulling Eddie into a hug. It throws him off balance for a second, a surprised noise slipping past his lips but he settles into the hug, which yeah that’s his own fault. He fell for the oldest trick in the book, affection as distraction. He definitely should’ve seen this coming.
or
Four times Theo uses Eddie's shirt as his designated snot spot and the one time he doesn't.

Summary
“He—He had a nightmare,” Buck says. Eddie can tell he’s tugging at his hair. “He was asleep for barely an hour, and now he won’t stop crying. The thunder scares him.”
Before Eddie can ever answer, Theo’s cries interrupt him. His voice wails out a sad, “EDDIE!”
Eddie pauses. “Did he just say my name?”
On the other line, Buck’s breath hitches. Eddie pulls the comforter off himself, already springing into action to find his shoes and car keys.
Still, Buck doesn’t reply. Theo’s sobs are even more earsplitting through the phone. “I want EDDIE!”
“He’s—” Buck sucks in a breath. “He’s asking for you.”
OR: Theo can’t sleep because of the storm. Buck calls Eddie and Christopher for their help.
