“I haven’t seen in three dimensions since Natlantea. I’d forgotten how beautiful the world is. It’s all so solid and real. This is what I’ve been yearning to see for two thousand years.”
Ajaw's arms spread to encompass the waters before them and the cliffs at their back. The rush of sky above them, stunningly blue from the sea-summoned breezes that swept the clouds away, and the dewy grass trampled under their feet: he embraces it all with childlike enthusiasm. Emeralds sparkle in his eyes, ruby slits flashing with pure wonder as he takes in the land he once ruled over. Now he’s a part of it, just as much as Kinich or any other human are.
Now that Ajaw has a human body, Kinich makes good on his promise to show him the world. They sightsee around Natlan while adjusting to their new relationship (and to a new form, in Ajaw's case). This somehow involves running into the other Heroes of Natlan and receiving congratulations and, occasionally, baffling gifts.
Kinich is smitten, Ajaw is insufferable even in human form, and everyone else seems convinced there will be a wedding reception.

“Lady Alia told me something interesting, actually. Turns out she’s not a fae at all.”
“Indeed? How curious,” Flins hums. There is tension in his face, but his attention is still focused on Illuga.
“She made fun of me about it. She said that I, of all people, should be able to spot a fae, given that…” Illuga trails off and licks his lips; Flins tracks the flash of tongue. It’s now or never. “Given that I know one so well. Are you a fae, Sir Flins?”
A certain revelation over Flins’s ancestry causes Illuga to try take the next step in their relationship — while breaking every rule for interacting with the fae in the process.

Summary
Kiki is proud of her delivery business. She has flown through thunderstorms and sickness for it, has carried presents with her skirts bundled over to keep them dry through torrential rains. Kiki knows that what she does is important, and it’s something she loves and can feel proud of at the end of the day.
But there are no potion witches in town, and what the Madame needs is help for her pain.
Kiki decides to learn potions, and ends up questioning the structure of witch society while she’s at it.
