Kai's eyes wander back into focus, and the newcomer bends down, looming over him. He flinches as they push a bloody strand of hair out of his face, and relaxes a little when he recognises theirs, realising the person in front of him is hardly a newcomer at all.
"Good afternoon," Sou Hiyori says, small smile ever-plastered on his face. "Not doing too well, are we?"
After yet another failed mission, Hiyori helps Kai return to teenage normalcy - as normal as the two of them are capable of, anyway.

Bill adds at the end that, in true Seacaster fashion, his wishes are ultimately overruled by pirate law. He'd like his possessions to initially be distributed in the manner he's listed, but, once that's done, whoever can kill you for it can take it from you.
They're all content with what they've gotten, and, even if Fabian wasn't, he's stewing in enough parricide-induced guilt as it is. So they all silently agree to take the boring, not-so-piratey route of divvying up the goods as listed and leaving it at that. Fabian glances down in the general direction of where he assumes the Nine Hells are - i.e., straight down at the floor. Sorry to disappoint, Papa.
Or, Fabian Aramais Seacaster on men who cannot die, boys who have to, and breaking the speed limit on an empty highway.

“The Traveler,” Diluc replies, suddenly sounding unsure of himself. “The sixteenth of June, right?”
“It’s June?!”
