Summary
A blood oath. It was Sana’s idea, like most things are. She suggested it one night, shyly, lying on Dahyun’s bed, her hair falling over the edge like a black waterfall. Dahyun couldn’t think of anyone she’d rather be bound to forever, and Sana’s arms around her when she agreed, Sana’s laughter against her neck, felt like everything she could ever want. That feeling hasn’t changed.
-
Dahyun and Sana visit an old graveyard at night and make an eternal promise.

Summary
“You’re thinking,” Yongha says, his voice softer now. “How bad is it this year?”
Jaeshin shrugs. He’s always been quiet – bad at voicing his thoughts, better at pouring his anger into street fights or downing his frustration with a bottle of soju – but this is Yongha. Goo Yongha, standing in his doorway, looking at him, dressed in a ridiculous faux fur coat and a lumpy scarf that has to be at least three metres long. “Pretty bad. I didn’t sleep.”
or, in which Jaeshin's Christmas comes with two constants; the memory of the coldest day of his life, and Yongha. Always, always Yongha.

Summary
“What did you do to have Jiung abandon you?” Taeyang teased as he sat down on the opposite side of the booth.
Keeho leisurely leaned against his hand, immediately feeling more at ease when Taeyang was within reach. “He couldn’t handle my insightful commentary on the musical choices in this bar.”
“Really? With the way you were staring at me, I would’ve guessed something else.”
What he and Taeyang were doing was just fun, Keeho told himself.

Summary
He heard the piano the way he heard everything he did. Hand Seungmin a rough mix and one listen would tell him all he needed to work on for the next hour. That was his ear. So he heard, like a personal insult, his own left hand laying the arpeggios down like a thumping bass line, when the whole point was that they were simply the water the melody floated on, not a Bellagio fountain. Meanwhile, the triplets in his right hand landed like the drum beats Gunil used to count the members in. Seungmin shook his head, imagining Debussy in shock. He’d turned old Claude’s arabesque into a rock concert.
or: Seungmin is trying to play Debussy's Arabesque No. 1, but he can't quite get it right.

“I mean… Keeho…” Taeyang laughs, shooting Keeho a look.
He blinks. “What?”
Taeyang tips his chin down, brows pulling together in an almost patronizing manner. “It’s not going to be rocket science to outperform your exes. You have horrible taste in men.”
Keeho goes to argue, but quickly realizes that there isn’t much to say. Taeyang is right. “Whatever,” Keeho huffs, cheeks burning. He’ll blame the wind.
(OR: Keeho bribes his best friend to pretend to be his boyfriend for a night.)

Summary
Three years of street racing. Three years of flirting disguised as insults. Three years of Kimi telling himself he hates the rival driver who never takes off his helmet—the one with the infuriatingly attractive voice and the terrible fashion sense.
When Oliver “Eighty-Seven” finally shows his face after a race in neon-lit Tokyo, Kimi discovers the things: his rival is annoyingly handsome, and his carefully maintained “hatred” is crumbling faster that his lap times.
Or: Two idiot rivals race cars, exchange verbal fire, and slowly realise they’ve been flirting with each other for three straight years while their long-suffering managers place bets.
