Jane leans in closer, the booth’s leather seats squeaking beneath them as she sidles in, practically a hair’s breadth away. Heat radiates off of his skin, warming her lips—so very, very close to his cheeks.
“Just because there’s a goalie,” she whispers, “doesn’t mean you can’t score.”
Jane aims to ensure Seth's happiness. Her weapon of choice just so happens to be another man.
She just didn't expect to like that other man so much, too.

Summary
In Dan Heng’s defense, he’s still not totally convinced that this isn’t some strange dream.
This isn’t the first time this particular setting has featured in one of his dreams, something like the memory of a fantasy.
He is in Yingxing's forge on the Luofu, dressed in the regalia of the Inhibitor Lunae that appeared on his body whenever he used that power. While he was never a particular fan of how much skin was exposed by this ensemble - something that always confused him now knowing more about vidyadhara culture - he was grateful now in the biting heat of the forge.
Yingxing was there with his white hair swept up in a high ponytail and his coat lying somewhere in the forge. His strong arms were straining, chest heaving, skin sweating from the effort of his work.
When he notices Dan Heng's presence, he smiles at him with Blade's face and, really, what else was Dan Heng supposed to do when confronted with such a thing?
dan heng is a light sleeper so this sex dream better pick up the pace he doesn't have time for dan feng and yingxing's the will they/won't they nonsense so he's just going to have to show them what they're missing

Ratio’s response is as blunt as he is in person. “Intriguing. It doesn’t miss you.”
Aventurine laughs.
Then, of course, he responds, trying to get the response he wants. “Well, how about a little wager?”
Those three bubbles dance across his screen, before Ratio’s reply pops up. “Explain.”
“Haven’t you ever wondered if you were better at cards than me?”Years had passed, but those strange feelings hadn't.

"What makes you say that?" came a dull rebuttal, "I find this robe to be rather comfortable. That's all."
"It's silk," Kaveh said.
"It is."
"You don't even like silk!" Where did all those complaints of it being slippery and itchy go? Alhaitham was always so particular with the textures he wore. There was definitely an agenda he was after.
During what seems to be a random, unassuming day, Kaveh begins to notice a few changes in Alhaitham's wardrobe.
