Summary
Mike has an intense panic attack at a networking event while he watches Harvey flirt with potential clients. He's just waiting for Harvey to find someone younger and prettier — once he's lost his novelty and boyish charm. Harvey makes sure Mike knows he's cherished in every way possible.
This is a bit of a Mike character study into his insecurities while Harvey gets real and vulnerable to help him work through them.
—Harvey kissed the top of his head. “I wouldn’t impulsively commit fraud with just anyone, you know. I saw something extraordinary in you, and you prove me right more and more every day."
After a beat, Harvey added, "You know I like to say I make my own luck. But god, Mike. I feel lucky every day I get to be with you, to work with you. I need you to believe that.”
Mike was crying again. It wasn't that he didn’t believe him. But everyone leaves. It would only take one moment for Harvey to decide that he wasn’t worth it anymore—
Part 5 of my "Our Song(s)" series of one-shots based on Taylor Swift songs. Lyrics are woven throughout, but you don't need to be a fan. This one is based on "Nothing New (Taylor's Version) (From the Vault)."

Square: First Date“Don't hurt him. You might think what this old woman’s gonna do? But I will—”
“You? Old? Please. You don't look a day over fifty five.” Harvey scoffed, interrupting her shovel-talk.
“Aren't you a smooth talker.” She laughed and reached out, tugging his cheek.
That was when Mike walked into the living room.
“Uhh—what’s going on here?” he asked, eyes darting between Harvey and his grandmother.
Edith smiled. “You've got a good man here, Michael. If you won't date him, I will.”
“Oh god, Grammy, please don't say that—”
“If I hadn't met him earlier—” Harvey smiled, all charming, ever the ladies’ man.
“Not you too!” Mike groaned as Edith and Harvey burst out laughing.
“We’re gonna go now,” Mike said quickly, leaning down to kiss her cheek. “Bye, Grammy.”
“Bye, Michael.” She turned to Harvey and added, in a mock-stern voice, “And you, young man, bring him back by twelve.”
“Gam, I'm not a kid anymore!” Mike whined, which only proved her point.
“Yes, ma’am, I'll make sure of it.” Harvey replied, smiling ear to ear.Series

Summary
“Fuuucckkk…” Harvey groaned again—unguarded, nothing like the controlled sounds, deep grunts Mike was used to hearing. Nothing like the rare times Harvey bottomed, either. This was…louder. Needier.
Mike’s ears burned.
He didn't know Harvey could sound like that.
Mike stepped back abruptly, heart pounding, and tiptoed toward the couch like he’d walked in on something secret and forbidden. He sat there stiffly, staring at the now mysterious, locked door while the sounds carried faintly down the hall.Or

Summary
Mike pulled away first, gasping for air, unable to look at Harvey and face his unyielding gaze. He keeps his gaze towards the floor, mind buzzing with questions, confused by Harvey’s reciprocation, not knowing if he’d just ruined their relationship but still wanting more. As much as Harvey would give him. Anything Harvey would give him.
“You have no idea how long I’ve wanted to do that for.” Harvey whispered, making Mike jerk back, looking at Harvey with a mix of confusion and surprise.
or; Mike and Harvey were friends with benefits, until they’re not.

Summary
"They remind me of us," the woman whispered to her husband.
The man chuckled. "You think they’ve been together long?"
"Long enough to argue about the small stuff," she replied, nodding toward Mike, who was now waving his arms dramatically in defense of Bruce Willis.
