   Summary

   When Elphaba takes over Galinda’s case, everyone, including herself, expects the verdict to be clear. Galinda looks like the perfect suspect: the lack of alibi, the right motive, the absense of love for her late husband. Yet as Elphaba delves deeper, she finds the truth is far more complicated than she thought. The more she investigates, the less certain she is, and the clearer it becomes that no everything is as it seemed. Elphaba is forced to question everything she thought she knew about her client and the people she’s trusted most.
